Lizzy at 2 months

Well little Lizzy in Scotland has been busy happily growing and she's starting to smile and laugh a lot.

Maybe the most unexpected thing is that she has brought luck to her dad Gary's football (soccer to you) team.

Immediately upon her birth the Aberdeen FC began to win and for the first time in 19 years the Dons made it to the final in the Scottish cup!

Pretty sure it wasn't a conscious choice on Lizzy's part because as you can see she is not enamored of Angus the bull the official mascot.

Maybe she knows that she'll be spending more time with the corporate sponsor's Si the seagull in the family section. No matter, soon she'll be cheering on her dad's beloved team.

In an effort to effect a win in the final I got out the scarf that Gary and Heather gave me after their wedding and sure enough the 40 thousand Aberdeen fans that flooded Glasgow for the big game celebrated a win for their team! Maybe there's hope for the Blue Jays too! Lizzy's coming for a visit in June so perhaps she could see to changing their luck. You Leaf fans are on your own. Sorry. Lizzy is good but she's not a miracle worker.

Lizzy's been trying out the onesies we decorated at our cyber shower.

Yep!
